Come quilt with us &#8211; we welcome guests! Guests may attend up to two meetings in a membership year at no cost, but are expected to become members and pay dues upon attending a third Guild meeting.<\/p>\n<h2>Dues<\/h2>\n<p>Annual Membership dues are $30.<\/p>\n<p>Dues are paid at the time of joining the guild, and thereafter at the annual membership meeting (and apply for the following year).<\/p>\n<h2>Benefits<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Being part of a laid-back guild dedicated to having fun, exploring <a href=\"https:\/\/boisemodernquiltguild.com\/category\/modern-quilting\/\">modern quilting<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/boisemodernquiltguild.com\/giving-back\/\">giving back to the community<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Opportunities to participate in swaps and challenges<\/li>\n<li>Priority access to register for Boise MQG retreats, workshops and other paid events<\/li>\n<li>Membership in the international Modern Quilt Guild. Member-only resources and benefits are impressive \u2014 find more details <a href=\"https:\/\/mqg.memberclicks.net\/for-mqg-members\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Involvement in the Modern Quilt Guild fabric challenges<\/li>\n<li>Member pricing to QuiltCon, the Modern Quilt Guild&#8217;s annual convention. Members can also enter quilts into the judged quilt show at QuiltCon.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to meet other modern quilters, share ideas, and learn about modern quilting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Monthly Meetings<\/h2>\n<p>Boise MQG monthly membership meetings are Sew Days. Sounds more fun than &#8220;meetings,\u201d huh?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sew Days can comprise of workshops, special projects, or just whatever quilting or sewing project you want to bring. Also, bring something you&#8217;ve made recently, to be highlighted during Show and Tell.<\/li>\n<li>Sew Days are generally held the fourth Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. We meet in person or virtually over Zoom, depending on the weather and recent COVID conditions. Information about each of our meetings (as well as the links to any virtual meetings) are provided to current members through our current member email list. When we meet in person, we&#8217;ll also post the location details here on the website.
